Weekly Workouts: The Crossfit Edition


So the past 2 weeks have been crazy. Last week was busy because I was on my 2nd of 2 weekends of travelling, and this week was catching up and preparing for this week: exam week. 3 exams Surprised smile organic chem on Tuesday, food science an calc III on Friday, and weekly quizzes in my online (condensed!) medical terminology class. ahhh.

Week 4: Crossfit/WSU week 2

This week, our school opened up the new mini gym on the edge of campus: a small, cross fit style gym. I was only planning on attending a day or 2 over free week, since they have limited hours, but ended up loving it. But, then I realized I was right, and the hours don’t work for me. womp womp.

M: I think WO2? or, something, after my morning class.
Tu: Quidditch
W: 2 rounds of barre after my morning class, drove home
Th: came back at 6:15 and attended a 6:30 xfit class woot! WOD was harrrrrd.
F: slept in (on accident!), so I went to xfit again, since my friends already had plans in the evening. PSYYYCH—I went in for the 6:30 class, only to remember the gym closes at 7, not 8pm, on Friday, and they only have the 4:30/5:30 class. Well, turns out I wasn’t the only one, and another guy and I did the WOD, which happened to be a partner WOD, and an employee stayed until 7:15 for us! SO nice! AND I really was pushed with a partner- he was strong and xfit semi experienced, and I was trying to hard not to feel like a wimp hah.
Sa: 10am xfit! last one! (before the chili cook off! ….and lots of walking D: ) another KILLER. my shoulders were so sore from so many push ups and strict presses! I learned thrusters, and it was awesome, and so hard, to lift heavy and fast. I did hit my jaw once!

easy day. a bit of quidditch

Week 5:. WSU week 3. the uhhhhh week.

so, it was rough. I wasn’t going to mention this, but it’s pretty obvious. I started a new medicine and the first week, even on a small dose, makes you really tired. I slept 12 hours on Tuesday night, and 11 on Wednesday night! workouts were a bit lack luster because of that, and because of time, because exams Crying face Crying face (<<for days and ever and ever)

M: 2 rounds of WO3 after my morning class. sleeepy
Tu: slept in. skipped quidditch to rest, then a little bit of barre.
W: bed. nada.
Th: morning class cancelled. I cooked a lot!
F: feeling a little better. read/elliptcaled at a good clip for 40 min 1 good round of total body barre then some bootyay work!
Sa: CLEANING.. I had a show rehearsal from 9-12. walked to the library. then my dad came to visit for his birthday (!!) and we (I!) scrubbed my apartment!
Su: nadddda, studying. a wee bit of yoga in the am. I haven’t been super focused this week! Sad smile

I’ve got home cooked food and fresh groceries. eats this week will be clean! (the weekend/end of last week involved lots of not so good stress eating. ahh! not feelin so hot now haha). Workouts will resume post Tuesday to normal!
